SHOWUP

Terms of Service

Effective May 6, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ShowUp (the "Service"), provided by Hope Media House ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

ShowUp accepts a URL you submit, fetches the publicly available HTML at that URL, runs deterministic technical checks against it, and may forward the page's main text content to a third-party large-language-model provider for qualitative scoring. Site-mode scans fetch additional URLs from the same origin discovered via sitemap.xml or shallow link crawling.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • Submit URLs you do not have permission or legal right to analyze, including URLs whose terms of access prohibit automated retrieval.
  • Use the Service to overload, harm, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system you do not own or are not authorized to test.
  • Attempt to circumvent the Service's rate limits, content caps, redirect limits, or SSRF protections, or use the Service to attack any network resource.
  • Submit URLs that point to private networks, internal infrastructure, or non-HTTP(S) protocols. The Service blocks these by design and circumvention is prohibited.
  • Use the Service in a way that violates the rights of any third party or any applicable law.

3. No accounts; no stored submissions

The Service does not require an account. Your submitted URL and the resulting analysis are processed in memory and may be cached briefly to avoid duplicate paid API calls. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Third-party content

ShowUp fetches and analyzes content owned by third parties. We do not endorse, modify, or take responsibility for that content. Reports describe technical signals only and are informational; they are not professional, legal, or marketing advice.

5. AI-generated output

The qualitative section of any report is generated by a third-party large language model and may contain errors, omissions, or judgments you would not agree with. Treat these as suggestions, not facts. You are responsible for any decision you make based on a report.

6. No warranty

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, nor that any analysis will be accurate or complete.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Hope Media House, its affiliates, contributors, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hope Media House from any claim, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to (a) your use of the Service, (b) your submission of any URL you did not have the right to analyze, or (c) your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

9. Intellectual property

The Service's source code, design, and rule library are owned by Hope Media House and its contributors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right or license in the Service other than the limited right to use it as offered.

10. Termination

We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the Service or your access to it at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. These Terms survive termination to the extent necessary to enforce them.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Hope Media House is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.

13. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be directed to Hope Media House via the contact information published on the Hope Media House website.
